Mary's Bachelorette Party... Saturday.

I woke up at 8 am on Saturday (after finally falling asleep at around 4 am… so that’s 4 hours of sleep).

Despite the lack of sleep, I was doing pretty well. I definitely wasn't at 100%, but it could have been MUCH worse. I think the “anti-hangover” concoction I consumed prior to going to bed helped.

After lounging at the hotel for awhile, Allison, Mary, and I went to lunch… it was yummy. I had a burger and fries. The fries were delicious!... and the burger was pretty good too. While at lunch, I noticed that Mary was wearing her dress backwards. The tag is always in the back Mary… Mary then proceeded to turn it around at the table while we sat in our booth. Very entertaining.After lunch, we returned to the hotel and did some more lounging and took naps.

At 4 pm, we had a lingerie shower for Mary at the hotel. She received lots of fabulous stuff… Yay for “booty”!As an aside, it was a VERY wet day in Dallas Saturday. It rained and it stormed. It was downright nasty!

At around 6:45 pm we left the hotel to go to the Dave Matthews Band concert. It was interesting… it was fun, but it was wet. I had my camera and iPhone, and I did not appreciate the rain. But it was definitely a memorable experience to say the least.I actually ended up leaving early… by myself (sortove). I ended up sharing a cab with 6 strangers… it was definitely interesting.

I got back to the hotel at 11 am… some of the girls (Allison, Leann, and Lori) were already at the hotel.

Apparently, they had left early as well. They were all dolled up when I returned, and shortly after my arrival they left to go back out on the town.

The remaining girls all returned before midnight. They all took showers, hung out, and eventually went to bed… except for Laura who ended up going back out… which is a whole other story (needless to say, she was not in a state in which she should have ventured out).

Everyone eventually returned to the hotel, and I have to say all in all it was a good day.
